Intelligent Nutrition was set up by and
is directed by our Nutritionist Peter Clark BSc (Hons), MMedSci (Human
Nutrition), mBANT, NTCC.
Peter's first degree was in
Biochemistry (University of Leeds). He went on to gain
his Masters in Human Nutrition, with distinction
(University of Sheffield). His research at the Northern
General Hospital, Sheffield on an aspect of bone mineral
metabolism was published in the Lancet.
Peter has over 20 years of expertise
advising on nutrition. He has experience as a Consultant
Nutritionist with a range of
clients from individuals to premiership rugby and
football clubs. Peter has written a column for the
Yorkshire Evening Post and has made guest appearances on
television. Specialist individual advice
can be given on food intolerances and food allergies.
Over a five year period Peter advised over 5,000 people
with food intolerances while acting as a Consultant
Nutritionist for
YorkTest, a nationally recognised company specialising
in blood tests for food intolerance and food allergies.
Peter is also very well qualified to give advice about
nutritional supplements having worked within this
industry advising healthcare practitioners on
nutritional issues. His background in biochemistry gives
him essential insight into the body's metabolic
processes. His main areas of focus are
digestive problems, fatigue, weight loss, blood sugar
disturbances, food intolerance and sports nutrition. Contact
